Measuring technology

Measuring equipment ensures the monitoring of every production process. By measuring, you know that processes are running well, but also, for example, whether you can improve your processes. Bakker & Co delivers and installs measuring equipment for industry and laboratories, which is thoroughly reliable and has proven itself under the most extreme conditions. Whether it concerns gas quantity measurements at pilot plants, flow measurements, fine dust measurements or highly accurate pressure measurements: reliable measuring, Bakker & Co knows all about it.

Particles matter

fine dust is a collective term for all parts up to 10 micrometres in diameter. Often, fine dust is measured in PM10 and PM2.5. Our equipment does not measure this fine dust in PM, but as dangerous to the mouth, windpipe or lungs. The equipment measures the weight of the dust. This makes it easy to measure the three harmful variants.

Types:

  • Fixed set-up
  • Portable set-up
  • Pollen monitoring

Output signals:

  • USB
  • RS232/RS-485
  • 6-digit display

Pressure

Pressure is the force exerted by something per square meter of surface area and is expressed in Newton or Pascal. Our equipment measures pressure with high accuracy by using crystals.

Flowing Gas volume measurement

Depending on the type of gas meter, gases can be measured ‘dry’ or ‘wet’. The gas meters measure the volume of gas consumed. There are various ways of recording data: this can be done by reading displays and by electronics in the form of pulse counters, whereby the software ensures simple processing.
